Orli Santo

I was born in the US but raised in Israel - few years ago i decided to part with my friends and family, return to my birth-land and see what the rave was all about. Who's this "America" everybody's talking about, anyway?
Apparently my arrival triggered a financial avalanche. Either that, or my timing was a bit off.
Living alone in New York turned out to be a challenging, sometimes terribly lonely mission -a fascinating one none the less.
My ongoing work as an artist and illustrator is constantly stimulated by the abundance of interesting people, and events: my recent position as a journalist keeps bringing incredible and tantalizing new ideas to my doorstep.
My life here - just like my website and portfolio, apparently - is a newly constructed work in progress, struggling to contain the periodic gushes of new information.
I welcome any form of contact or collaboration.

The same soldiers who are about 5 feet tall on the wall are also unobtrusively threatening an empty pack of camels.  The tiny child, usually the size of my palm, towers 9 feet tall - and is still completely dwarfed by the giant graffiti it's nested in.
size is relative.
